Our promise is simple: Lockstead collects nothing.
None. Lockstead has no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network requests of its own.
Your lock configuration, PIN (stored as a salted hash), schedule, and preferences are stored only on your device, in the app's private App Group container. They are removed when you delete the app.
Lockstead uses Apple's Screen Time framework (Family Controls) to lock and hide apps. The authorization and the list of restricted apps are managed by iOS on your device. Apple's opaque tokens prevent Lockstead from knowing which apps you selected by name, and nothing is transmitted anywhere. You can revoke this authorization at any time in Settings > Screen Time.
If you enable biometric unlock, authentication is performed entirely by iOS. Lockstead never sees or stores your biometric data.
VIP purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. Lockstead only receives Apple's confirmation that a purchase is active — no payment details, no identity.

VIP 购买与订阅由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理。Lockstead 仅收到 Apple 的购买生效确认——不涉及任何支付信息或身份信息。
